We host events!

Our event focus on small business owners. We showcase local vendors, foster connections with new people through a structure for talking to strangers, and feature an educational component. Whether it’s a panel discussion or a workshop, you’ll leave with a new skillset or idea and a slightly wider community.

In Person

We host in-person events that allow us to showcase local makers and business owners who sell food, drinks, baked goods, jewelry, ceramics, and more. They always have an educational component whether that’s a workshop, interview, or panel discussion, and a community building component that encourages people to talk to strangers (eek!!) in a structured and supported way so everyone leaves with new friends and colleagues, and some new skills!

Online

We host online events that offer educational content such as panel discussions, interviews, and workshops.

We hosted our launch event May 31, 2026 at Lint in DTLA. We had vendors that ranged from a photographer shooting headshots, to a baker, to a therapist, and even a “photobooth” where you could get a strip of 3 images of you drawn live.

We interviewed our friend Leo Aquino, founder of Queer and Trans Wealth, about the choice to go into business for themself and we shared our own reasons. We also provided a list of questions to ask a stranger so everyone got to meet several new people.
